Workshop in Kyiv

Workshop "American Spaces: creative programs, new technology and effective management"

Good Morning!

We started this beautiful sunny day at WOA with an interesting presentation about Pittsburgh and friendly conversation while drinking tea with cookies and homemade honey cake. Former PCV, current intern of WOA Ternopil, David Hughes, gave an exciting presentation about his home city, its traditions, universities, local slang - Pittsburghese, Ukrainians in Pittsburgh and many other interesting and funny facts about this city. There were also two PCVs there, Celyse Weller and Matt Turner, and they introduced themselves to the participants and told a few words about the states where they were from – California and Alaska. Everyone is welcome to WOA next week to have a cup of tea, get to know something interesting and practice your English!

There was an English Grammar Club with PCV Matt Turner yesterday. Matt taught how to use "would", "had better" and "it's time". Join us next week!
