On August the 9th Window on America center was visited by the guests from the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine.
Natalia Yasko - Information Resource Center Assistant and Heather Fabrikant - Assistant Cultural Affairs Officer came to Ternopil regional universal scientific library. The deputy director of the library Liskova Oleksandra Hryhorivna greeted the guests and guided them through the library. The coordinator of the Window on America center Olga Slobodian demonstrated the resources and the activity of the center.
Window on America center is supported by the Democracy Grants Program of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine and thanks to this project the center has new and uptodate resources concerning various information about the United States of America. This time Yasko Natalia has delivered to the center leaflets, maps, magazines and CDs containing information about the past and present of the USA.
Heather Fabrikant showed to the coordinator of the center new technical resources, such as iPad and eBook. These recourses will be presented to the Window on America center in the near future.
